Your new role

• Ensuring the delivery of a high quality professional legal & compliance service to identify, manage and mitigate business risk; ensuring that the team is resourced accordingly and that performance, development and capability of the team matches and meets business requirements
• Managing and developing the members of the Legal & Compliance team, including talent and performance management, personal development of team members and prioritisation of workload.
• Working with Executive Committee, Senior Leadership teams and core business areas to provide strategic legal advice to the international business in accordance with applicable laws and Corporate and Local objectives.
• Oversee the development of a compliance culture throughout the organisation consistent with external and internal requirements including BI's organisational values.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a UK qualified lawyer or come from a similar common law background. You will have ideally 4-8PQE experience either in practice or in an in-house environment.
