Corporate lawyer with Mandarin language skills

As part of our global reorganisation, we are relocating our central support functions from Hong Kong to our new offices in Victoria, London.  As a result of this relocation we are looking to recruit a new Senior Corporate lawyer with Mandarin language skills. This is a really exciting time to join the company as we are growing rapidly and are very ambitious.

Responsibilities will include leading and managing all corporate development projects including M&A, greenfield/brownfield development and construction; handling operational matters for other group functions, relevant schools and regional offices; handling corporate legal matters e.g. board meeting and approval processes; manage and give guidance to more junior members of the team.

To be successful you must have a strong academic background and trained at a highly regarded law firm with substantial experience in M&A transactions. You will have knowledge and experience working with international laws and cross border transactions. Ideally you will have also completed an in-house secondment or currently be working in-house. English and Mandarin language skills are essential. You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment and become an integral part of the Nord Anglia Education legal team.
