THE ROLE:
A unique opportunity has arisen for a confident and enthusiastic Paralegal to work in the growing development department of a Top 150 firm based in Leamington Spa. Your caseload will encompass dealing with site set up and residential plot sales. The firm is looking for someone who has worked in a conveyancing department and is experienced at working on their own caseload.
This development team act for landowners, private sector developers/house builders, promoters and affordable housing providers on all aspects of the development process on both instant and strategic development schemes. Your responsibilities will be varied, interesting and involve; Assisting in the drafting of legal documents and with the preparation of documentation to clients; Liaising with clients and organisations on the phone, resolving as many enquiries yourself as possible and where referral is needed, ensuring a comprehensive attendance note is provided; Attending meetings with Fee Earners; Maintaining the integrity of data in the firms' systems; Undertaking file opening and closing processes as required in support of matter progression; Completing administrative tasks such as document scanning, and photocopying as required and prepare high quality documentation such as covering letters, presentations, spreadsheets and reports as well as undertaking legal research both as requested and on own initiative. This is a perfect opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a growing department.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will previous paralegal experience gained in a busy conveyancing department. The Paralegal will also have good client and team communication skills and a desire to play a key role in the future of the development team. Above all, you will be able to deliver succinct, quality and tailored advice to key clients. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work both autonomously and as a team player and will have high levels of motivation.
