Employment Lawyer – Global Bank – Contract or C2P – London

The Client

A well-known global bank is looking for an employment lawyer to support an overflow of work for 9-12 months minimum, with permanent potential (full- or part-time). Based in Central London, this bank is great at making their contractors feel like permanent employees and working to a high standard on interesting work.  

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working on a range of general contentious and non-contentious employment work.
  • Interacting with internal and external clients to ensure the bank is supporting compliant with all employment-related regulation.
  • Advising the bank on contentious employment matter particularly considering commercial impacts on the business.
  • Supporting the General Counsel and acting as the lead employment lawyer where required.

This role offers good work/life balance in a highly reputable organisation.  A great working culture, it’s ideal for a mid-level lawyer looking to move in-house or take up a longer contracting role.

You should have good law firm training, with in-house experience in a financial institution a bonus.
