Cravath Scale Salary on Offer at Prestigious US Firm in London: Leveraged Finance Associates (1-5 PQ

We are working with a leading Wall Street firm, where not many opportunities arise to join the Leveraged Finance team in London. 

An opening has now emerged at the firm that is looking to expand its practice, as it is actively seeking associates with between 1 and 5 years of PQE.

The team specialises in international acquisition finance, as well as subordinated financings, syndicated credit and other leveraged finance transactions.  Given the breadth and scope of work on offer, the team also delves into other areas of the larger finance umbrella, notably in real estate finance. 

In light of the broad nature of the role, the team advises some of the leading private equity firms, banks, real estate companies as well as other renowned lenders and borrowers.

The firm offers a salary that is in line with the ‘Cravath’ scale, which is the highest salary band on offer in the market – for an associate with 1 year of post-qualified experience, they can expect a salary of roughly £150,000.

The successful candidate will have between 1 and 5 years of PQE, with prior experience gained at a leading international firm in London.  The candidate ought to have broad banking/finance, and additional experience in any finance sub-sector is considered added bonus.
