A unique and interesting opportunity has arisen for a NQ-5 years PQE commercial contracts lawyer to join a top 100, national firm in Leeds.

The role is with the Commercial and Infrastructure department, which is highly-respected in the local authority and healthcare sectors, and ranked by the Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 directories and is one of the main advisors for the NHS and Local Government.

As a key advisor to these institutions, the team also assist with misconduct and inquests work involving child sexual exploitation matters, bullying and inappropriate behaviour. You will also be tasked with advising local authorities with their constitutional obligations.

This is a very unique opportunity, and will be suited to those who want a varied and interesting caseload which is different to typical transactional roles.

Importantly, you will not be expected to have substantial experience working across all these different areas. Our client understands that people with this skill set would be very difficult to find and are willing to train up those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the advisory nature of this work.

Furthermore, although experience acting for local authorities or the NHS would be desirable, this firm will look at commercial lawyers from all backgrounds.
