NQ+ Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor - Leeds

Top 50 law firm based in central Leeds are seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Solicitor to join the team.

The successful candidate will handle their own caseload, encompassing the full range of the team's work (with appropriate level of supervision) including:

• Advising public bodies, predominately NHS Trusts on the formulation of policies.
• Advising in relation to Court of Protection proceedings and applications for Judicial Review.
• Handle a varied workload in accordance with client protocols and with an appropriate level of supervision. Act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience.
• Undertake advocacy at Inquests, contentious public law hearings, PII applications. It is likely given the variety of the work the team undertakes that other advocacy opportunities will arise.

They are seeking a UK solicitor with NQ-4 years pqe in health and social care law and someone who has experience of working for public bodies (including NHS Trusts) etc. You will also have strong client relationship skills and will be able to demonstrate commitment and flexibility of working, to help satisfy high levels of urgent advice and responsiveness. NQs with a 6 month seat in healthcare are encouraged to apply.
