Our client is a Magic Circle law firm, with a long established, and highly collegiate Moscow office, staffed with a mixture of Russian qualified and expat lawyers.

Its Russian Corporate M&A Practice is well respected for its involvement in cutting edge cross-border and domestic M&A and JV transactions, and for its enviable client base of blue chip Russian and international companies.

Following a departmental restructure, a new role has emerged for a mid to mid/senior level English/common law qualified associate to join the English law corporate team on the ground in Moscow to play an important role in executing major deals with a focus on the oil and gas sector.

Your profile should be as follows:

- English/Australian qualified lawyer;
- Strong academic history;
- From 3 years' + experience in corporate M&A at a top national/international law firm in Moscow, London or Sydney (or a similar major city);
- Used to drafting and negotiating transactional documentation with minimum supervision;
- Native English language skills essential (Russian language skills not required).
