Vice President, Commodities – Global Investment Bank
Our Client, a global investment bank, is looking for an experienced commodities lawyer to coverboth physical and financial transactions
Responsibilities
- Support the current trading and financing activities of the Global Commodities business.
- Advice and drafting on all aspects of physical commodity transactions;
- Advice and drafting in respect of OTC financially settled transactions;
- Support for exchange trading;
- Coordination with EMEA and US regulatory, credit, compliance, risk management, tax and other control functions as part of the overall risk architecture of the bank.
Skills and qualifications
- 3 to 5 years PQE
- Experience negotiating commodities market standard documentation
- Experience of non-standard physical commodities trading
- Understanding of commodities exchange platforms
- Knowledge of EU and member state regulation applicable to the physical commodity markets
