Financial Services Lawyer (2+ yrs.) for Well-Established, Global Business, Central London

Our client is looking for a lawyer to join their established legal team who support the markets, treasury and liquidity management business lines.

Once in the role, the successful candidate will occupy a role with real scope, but which includes the drafting, negotiation and review of the following:

• Stock Lending Agreements on an agency and principal basis;
• Derivatives agreements relating to different counterparty types;
• Triparty Collateral Management Agreements.

You will also advise on all aspects of creating and enforcing security interests over cash and securities, work with the credit and product management teams on developing new products and engage with other legal work on an ad-hoc basis.

Experience with the some/all the following is desirable:

• securities lending and repos;
• derivatives;
• collateral management.

You may come from another in-house financial services team, or you may be in one of the top City law firms, but regardless, you must be a UK-qualified lawyer.

This role would suit a person who is proactive and enjoys working autonomously, but you will form part of a collaborative and supportive team.  You must therefore be able to communicate effectively and create strong relationships with your legal and business colleagues.
