Private Client Solicitor, 2-6 PQE, leverage a global network to build your own book of HNWs

Be part of a very successful and relatively young team of private client solicitors working with UHNW clients on big ticket non-res non-dom and res non-dom tax advice as well as UK and offshore trusts matters. Day-to-day work is split roughly 50-50 between tax planning and trusts advice. Clients tend to be worth in excess of £400m and you will be supported in leveraging the global client network to cross-sell the private client services. Nowhere else in the City will you have a chance to access and build you own book of such high quality HNW/UHNW clients.

The private client division consists of just 8-10 fee earners but sits within an overall tax team of circa 50-60 - the largest wider tax team of any London law firm.

Career progression to partnership is a very real option for the right candidate and it is likely that the team will hire a junior to mid-level associate as well as a senior associate to be teed up for partnership. Promotion is very much based on merit rather than years PQE.

As the team is so busy, the cross-selling opportunities are not currently being maximised due to solicitors focusing on fee earning responsibilities. Accordingly, you will need to be ready and willing to get involved in BD to leverage the firm's large global client base. Global travel is available for those interested.

This opportunity will suit an ambitious solicitor with a good understanding of trusts and res non-dom and non-res non-dom tax matters. You will be able to build a truly international client base of your own using the firm's connections. This is a fast-track to building an indispensable client base and honing tax planning skills in a supportive and energetic young team.
