Elite US Firm in London – Data Protection/ Data Privacy Associate
The London office of this highly prestigious US Law Firm is looking to recruiting a talented and ambitious data privacy/ data protection associate into its highly regarded team.
The firm has an exceptional global reputation for big ticket transactional, disputes and regulatory work and its London office is well established as one of the leading full-service firms in London. The data protection/privacy practice handles a broad range of work advising on the implementation of new policies in light of GDPR as well as responding to cybersecurity breaches, advising on regulatory investigations and on commercialisation of data and technology transactions where data is a strategic asset. The team’s clients span organisations in the financial services, life sciences, technology, social media, e-commerce and industrials sectors amongst others.
On offer would be the opportunity to work in a small team and take on extremely high levels of responsibility and client contact for a range of interesting data related work. The firm has an excellent track record of internal promotions so there would be good long term progression prospects, and in the shorter term the firm is known for having a much more collegiate atmosphere than competitors and offers one of the top compensation packages in the City.
Candidates much have strong academics and good relevant experience from a practice with a strong reputation for data privacy work. Of particular interest would be those candidates with between 2 and 5 years of post-qualification experience but strong candidates outside of this range would also be considered.
