Our client's highly ranked Commercial team works with a broad variety of Commercial clients and has an unequalled presence in the South West in this area of practice. The work undertaken by this team is often high value, complex and high profile. They are currently recruiting for a commercially focused, experienced practice development lawyer; you will play a key part in the development of their strategy and will be a vital resource for clients and colleagues alike.

Your new role

You will provide an external presence and support to the firms fantastic FTSE 250 and large institutional client base, as well as contribute to strategy and project implementation, whilst delivering internal KM support. You will be working with a multi office team of over 50 fee earners, providing them with a tactical and commercial insight into the legal market and regulatory developments and trends. You'll become a trusted advisor to both the clients and your colleagues on knowledge management.

What you'll need to succeed

For this role, a proven track record in quality commercial work is required - ideally gained whilst working for a good City or regional firm, previous in-house or PSL experience is extremely desirable. You will be 7+ PQE and will need excellent client service skills with a passion for collaborative working and sharing knowledge and expertise.
