My client is a financial services success story that continues to go from strength to strength.
There is now a rare opportunity for a corporate focused lawyer to join their established in-house legal team.
Reporting into the Head of Legal you will be advising on corporate governance, treasury and disclosure matters and be a senior member of the businesses In-house legal team. Your specific responsibilities will include ensuring the governance framework is fit for purpose; reviewing disclosures and other public documents to ensure they reflect relevant requirements.
The person undertaking this role will obtain insight and experience into how the company operates at the highest levels, including strategy and performance.
The role requires strong collaboration, networking and influencing skills in order to get timely input from stakeholders where required and to distil this into appropriate advice for the clients. The candidate will have to be comfortable with working under tight deadlines and with people at all levels of seniority. Attention to detail in drafting and legal analysis is essential in this role.
You will be a strong communicator, with the skills and gravitas to build effective relationships and gain credibility across the business
We are open minded on PQE
The role would suit someone with either a corporate, banking or restructuring background
