New! - we are actively seeking an ambitious corporate/commercial solicitor to join a highly regarded national Legal 500 law firm based in Buckinghamshire. This is a dynamic and growing practice which offers excellent exposure to an impressive array of clients. This opportunity may suit an ambitious solicitor who is looking to achieve a better work-life balance whilst retaining a high quality corporate and commerical caseload. You can expect exposure to complex and high-value deals and a diverse range of matters from day one.
The ideal candidate will have trained with a recognised city, or regional, practice and be capable of demonstrating a consistently strong academic record. We are seeking an ambitious solicitor who particularly enjoys business development/marketing and actively seeks a consistent level of client contact. You will be highly organised in your approach to managing conflicting deadlines and be able to work within a collegiate team environment.
A minimum of 1 PQE is preferred and this is an exciting new opportunity for a career minded solicitor to progress their career longer-term.
Typical matters may include: Purchase and Sale of businesses, Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Venture agreements, Shareholder Agreements, and Terms of Business, IP, IT-related issues. Commercial contracts (eg T&Cs, bespoke supply agreements, master services agreements, commercial agents).
Some knowledge of transactional processes is required and this opportunity requires excellent IT/keyboard skills, planning and organisational skills as well as a flexible and positive attitude to your work. You will be joining an established team therefore the ability to work as part of a team is equally important.
To-date, you may have also advised on some, or all, of the following areas, including:
- Mergers & Acquisitions;
- Joint Ventures;
- Commercial Contracts;
- Data Protection;
