This US law firm has revenues are over $1 billion and it is an all equity partnership.
The firm has a leading global real estate practice and many of the senior management are real estate and real estate finance lawyers. London is now almost full service with almost 100 lawyers, the real estate practice is well established and is well regarded in the directories.
The real estate finance practice is currently quite mixed covering both structured finance, securitisation and real estate financings. The clients include investment banks, alternative lenders and borrowers.
The firm is looking to refine the practice with a real estate finance partner working along side a structured finance partner specialising in real estate.
Background is very important both in terms of career and academically. The firm and the team is very commercial but also very cerebral in their approach, and the would like to recruit a like minded partner.
A following in the traditional sense is not important but you will need to demonstrate relationships with well-regarded and comparable clients.
