Employment Solicitor - September NQ - Leeds
An opportunity for a September newly qualified employment solicitor has arisen at a top 20, international firm in Leeds.
This is a ultra-modern and forward thinking firm, who appreciate that to attract the top talent they must be flexible; so those who require agile working or part-time hours should apply.
You will be joining a tier one employment team which handles a full range of high-profile employment matters for regional employers to big city institutions, blue chip companies and international businesses.
A key attraction for many candidates is the teams deep commitment to client secondments, with 100% of employees who have expressed an interest in seconding haven undertaken at least one secondment after joining the firm.
To be considered for the role, you should have gained experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law as you will be handling a 50:50 workload of litigious and non-litigious matters . This will include advising on service agreements, unfair dismissal, executive terminations, discrimination, TUPE and outsourcing and complex grievance complaints.
The team also deals with immigration issues, so ideally you will have experience in or the ability to demonstrate an interest in immigration matters and an appetite to develop your expertise in this interesting area of employment law.
