Paralegal - Employment Law

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a mid-sized City firm for a Paralegal in Employment Law.

The team is recognised by Chambers and The Legal 500 and is headed by a partner who is leading in the field and can often be seen on Sky news talking about Employment Law issues.  They boast an impressive client base from finance companies to start-ups and the work is a mixture of transactional, commercial and advisory, and contentious. 

This Paralegal role has arisen as there is no trainee rotating through the department from March - September and the Paralegal can look forward to gaining hands on trainee level experience. 

The firm has offered their last three paralegals a training contract. They require the same level of academics for their paralegals, which is a A’s and B’s at A Level, a minimum of a 2.1 and a Commendation or above in the LPC.

Due to the level of responsibility given from day one, ideally the firm would like to appoint a Paralegal with Employment Law experience. However they will look at paralegals that have transferable areas of law, for example commercial litigation, corporate or commercial, and who have an interest in Employment Law, perhaps completing an elective on the LPC.
