Contract: Approximately 9 Months Fixed Term Maternity Cover Contract (Some flexibility maybe required, as this a Maternity Cover Contract)
Hours: Flexible hours - to be discussed minimum 3 days per week.

About the role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Media Lawyer in Bristol to join a leading business in their field; my client are a multi-award-winning brand who are looking for someone to join them on a maternity cover contract. You will be leading their Business Affairs team to provide legal advice and support across their group of companies, but more specifically in the areas of licensing agreements, IP protection, marketing and talent and production agreements.

About you
Experience of IP and media law (ideally TV, film & marketing and video) is essential, and you should have experience of licensing and acquiring intellectual property rights. You'll also be commercially astute with a grasp of the opportunities to fully utilise our products across all media. You will also have experience of working in an in-house team and have strong people and line management skills. Applicants should have excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and negotiation skills. You should be a highly motivated, proactive self-starter, with a positive and flexible approach to work.

What's in it for you
This is a full time role but our client are happy to discuss flexible working hours, worked across Mondays to Fridays; they will consider a minimum of 3 days per week in the office as they require someone being in the studio the majority of the week to maintain working relationships, line manage the team and attend meetings etc. Please confirm your proposed working pattern within your application.
