Media-Focussed West End Firm – Employment Associates (1+ PQE)
Our client is an established West End firm that is looking to recruit a junior Employment associate into its well-established team.
The role is fairly evenly split between contentious and non-contentious matters on the employer and employee side. As well as working on transactional support and advisory matters, the team regularly advises senior executives, directors and other high-level employers on contractual agreements, termination packages, TUPE applications and some of the most high-profile discrimination cases in the market.
While the firm is inherently media-oriented, the team works across a host of different industry sectors, including retail, technology, investment banking and professional sports.
The firm promotes a healthy work-life balance, especially in comparison to some of the larger City firms. Nonetheless, the firm retains the same level of high-quality work, particularly in the Employment team, that will undoubtedly be beneficial from a professional development standpoint.
Applications are welcome from Employment associates with at least 1 year of PQE, preferably gained at a leading City firm, where they will also have trained. The firm will also consider a particularly strong NQ candidate with the right experience – the candidate must have completed an employment seat in their training contract.
