The role

The firm are seeking to hire a Contentious Construction Lawyer into their flourishing, Guildford, Surrey office.

The firm has one of the largest and strongest real estate practices in the South outside London. You will have experience of adjudication, arbitration and litigation in the TCC as well as the ability to give practical and commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress. commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress. Typical disputes include interim and final payments disputes, professional negligence claims and issues of delay and defective works.

The team act for employers (corporates and high net worth individuals), construction professionals, contractors and sub-contractors and the successful candidate can look forward to a broad range of quality work across various sectors;

Requirements

  • You will be a Contentious Construction Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
  • You should have first-class communication skills
  • You should have a meticulous eye for detail
  • Salary is very competitive and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, plus an excellent benefits package
