LEGAL ADVISER, NQ-1 YEARS’ PQE, CENTRAL LONDON, MEDIA BUSINESS

Our client is a well-known and established media business based in Central London. They have a fantastic team of very grounded lawyers, all of whom are personable, easy-going and not at all corporate in their mindset.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified lawyer to join their team and work on a broad mix of commercial matters. In time, you will be given lots of autonomy and responsibility and be expected to draft, review and negotiate licensing, rights, supplier and agency agreements, so ideally a good working knowledge of soft intellectual property, especially copyright and trade marks could be useful. You will also be expected to undertake some data protection and compliance work as part of your duties.

Ideally the role will suit someone looking to do something different, in a relaxed environment, where you will be supported as the most junior lawyer of the team. As this is quite a creative environment, it won’t suit someone who is naturally quite ‘corporate’ in their demeanour. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, upbeat, personable and confident lawyer to perhaps make their first move in house as part of a fun team.
