Our client is one of the world's top 10 offshore law firms with a strong reputation across the Caribbean and Channel Islands. As a result, its partners are regularly instructed by many of the world's largest banks, funds, and corporates on transactions structured through the offshore jurisdiction.
The firm's growing London office acts as a key hub for time-sensitive advice and marketing to European clients. The team advises on a broad range of transactional matters, include M&A, joint ventures, fund structuring, and the full spectrum of financing arrangements. As such, you would be in a position to substantially broaden your skillset while working in a rewarding and down to earth environment. In addition to fee earning work, all members of the London team are encouraged to engage in business development and budgets are allocated for this from Associate level upwards.
The successful candidate will work closely with the partners to grow the firm's offering in London.
To be considered for this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Admitted as a solicitor in the UK, Australia, or New Zealand and have between 2.5 and 7 years' PQE
- Demonstrable experience of cross-border transactions in one or more of the following areas: M&A; Joint Ventures; Equity Investments; Acquisition / Leveraged Finance; Syndicated Lending
- Be confident enough to work autonomously where appropriate
