Charities - Paralegal - Bristol

Rare and exciting opportunity for a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join a team nationally recognised for its work with charities by both Chambers and Legal 500.

You will be joining a leading Bristol firm with a first class reputation in the Local and National market.

Your role will be interesting and varied and include:

• Responsibility for administrative tasks and routine legal work under the supervision of qualified lawyers in order to support the delivery of high quality services to charity clients (including universities, academies, independent schools, Church of England Diocese and other faith charities and social enterprises.
• Carrying out file opening and conflict checking (including drafting letters of engagement), under supervision
• Drafting standard form documents, under supervision
• Advising clients in relation to specified areas, under supervision
• Carry out administrative tasks such as diary management and arranging conference calls
• Co-ordinate billing for larger clients
• Support the charities team on research and paralegal level fee earning
• Prepare first draft tenders

To apply for this role you will ideally have 6 months paralegal experience and an interest in the charity sector.

Salary will range from £17,000 - £20,000 and be coupled with an excellent benefits package.
