Costs Lawyer/ Costs Draftsperson

A costs solicitor or costs draftsperson is required for this costs department at a leading claimant firm based in Worcester and Birmingham to handle litigated costs files. You will ideally have minimum two years' experience in handling your own costs files. On offer is a highly competitive salary and benefits.

This costs role will give you broad exposure to costs files across clinical negligence and personal injury departments. This role will suit a qualified costs solicitor that is keen to work for a top tier claimant firm and handle your own high value complex litigated cost files then this is an excellent opportunity for you. This is a multi faceted role which will involve costs drafting, costs negotiations, detailed assessments, hearings and of course being the first point of contact for partners and other team members to go to with costs queries.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy costs team with a robust costs strategy post Jackson. If you are looking for stability in an uncertain market this growing team is inundated with work from their internal clinical negligence /personal injury departments. This role would suit a qualified solicitor, costs draftsperson or experienced legal executive with minimum 2 years experience of handling your own litigated costs files.

The firm is based in Worcester and you will work from both their Worcester and Birmingham office.
