Commercial Disputes Partner

Our client is a well known UK law firm with ambitious plans. They are based in the City and have been making some exciting and successful hires at senior level over the past few years. They are keen to continue this and the commercial disputes team requires a partner with proven experience, gravitas and strong client skills to join their team. They have a well run corporate platform as part of their full service offering which spins out a good level of work for the disputes department. Their notable clients include household name blue chip businesses as well as foreign governments.

The firm is excellently led and the disputes team has a dynamic head of department. He is looking for disputes partners with leadership qualities and a desire to play a key roll in building the disputes team. Strong technical capabilities are, in addition, essential for this position. The niche disputes areas that they are strongest in, include civil fraud, insolvency disputes and international arbitration and alongside those areas they have a very good all-round commercial disputes practice. The quality of the work they do is exceptional.

Whilst the level of following has not been specifically set out by the client, proven client development capabilities are essential and a track record of client development is expected.

This role would suit an ambitious lawyer to match the firms aspirations. A leadership role is possible for the right partner. This is an exciting time to be joining the team which is very much on an upward trajectory.
