Commercial/IP Partner (Practice/Team Head)

Our client is a highly regarded UK law firm with a strong commercial presence. They are well known for representing a client base littered with household names which includes large multinationals, FTSE 100 companies, owner- managed businesses and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. They are looking for someone to help grow, develop and lead the Commercial/IP team. They have an established presence in this market and need a strong business winner and client developer to join as the leader of the team. With a strong commercial client base, our client can already offer a great platform for a commercial lawyer to add to their current work which includes advising clients on a wide range of commercial agreements including franchising, merchandising, outsourcing, and competition law. The intellectual property team advises clients on a wide range of IP issues, including registration of trade marks, licensing, distribution and franchising to help clients create, protect, exploit and enforce their intellectual property rights. This strong base will enable an experienced and senior lawyer to develop their practice whilst allowing their existing work to flourish.

The successful candidate will find a firm looking to invest and support the partner in managing and growing the team. They will enable them to develop the team, taking them to the next level.

The partner must be able to demonstrate a track record of client wins and business development.
