BCL Legal is a specialist legal recruitment agency with 16 years' experience recruiting for regional, national, boutique, and international law firms throughout the U, and in-house legal teams across various industries.

Our Birmingham office is growing and offers an excellent opportunity for a recruitment consultant to join a thriving team in the heart of the Midlands working for an exceptional client base of leading law firms throughout the UK.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

* Recruiting lawyer candidates for private practice law firm clients throughout the UK.
* Candidate sourcing via advertising, networking and business development.
* Client relationship management - maintaining PSL status and building new client accounts.
* Interview preparation - both candidate and client.
* Salary negotiation - both candidate and client.

Candidate requirements:

* This role is ideally suited to candidates with 360 recruitment experience however we also welcome and encourage candidates from other sales-based professional services backgrounds to apply.
* Given that we are legal specialists, this role may also suit lawyers who would be seeking a career change. Many of expert consultants are non-practising solicitors or otherwise come from a legal background.
* Strong academic background (degree level).
* Strong sales and negotiation skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent time management and the ability to work to multiple targets.
