About the role
The firm's Property Development team provide a complete range of legal and advisory services to clients across a full spectrum of Residential Development Property matters.
Workflows will include the following:
- Acting for landowners, private sector developers, promoters and affordable housing providers on all aspects of the development process from land assembly and acquisition through to site set up and plot sales (from single plots to large residential developments); and
- Draft and negotiate conditional and unconditional contracts, options and promotion agreements, transfers, exclusivity agreements, overage and pre-emption agreements.
About the person
Given the nature of the work, you will be a UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 months experience gained in either Residential or Commercial Property during a training contract. Experience of development work is desirable but not a pre-requisite provided that you have a passion for development and the motivation to learn.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner.
