THE ROLE:
A first class opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor to join this dynamic firm based in Leeds. The role is a pivotal one for the department as you will be joining an established team consisting of two highly regarded partners and a talented junior lawyer. The department is a highly thought of division of the Leeds practice and they cover a broad spectrum of corporate matters. Clients range from start-up businesses to major listed companies and financial institutions and are based nationally and internationally. Work involved varies from traditional M&A work through to private equity transactions, joint ventures and corporate structures. The team is noted in the Legal 500 and Chambers and you will enjoy the resources and support that you would expect from a Top 100 law firm. This is a excellent position for an ambitious corporate solicitor that is seeking a step up in career or seeking that all important opportunity to have a clear progression path. This role has all the benefits of working in a close knit, smaller environment with plenty of early responsibility and client contact.

THE CANDIDATE:
As the appointed Corporate solicitor you will have a solid understanding of Corporate work, handling your own caseload and assisting on more complex matters. With at least 3 years PQE you will have strong client management skills and deliver a pragmatic and commercial approach to your advice. You will be expected to play an active part in business development, scoping out your own network of clients in addition to working with other teams within the Leeds office.
