Our client is a global cosmetics company with over 30 international brands under its remit. They have a global team of around 60 lawyers. They are looking for a number 2 to sit in their Dubai office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a young dynamic lawyer looking to learn from the best. The legal department advises general management, both at head office and in various markets, providing important recommendations on strategic issues. The legal team will offer you a fantastic career which will enrich your expertise and allow you to explore increasingly technical and complex issues.

Your role will involve protecting the group’s business and assets in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Middle East and globally. You will focus mainly on making the business operations legally secure, for example in the distribution and sale of group products and also in the creation, management and defense of a wide portfolio of international brands for example.

You must have a good academic background, have worked in either a top international law firm or in a similar in-house environment, 3 to 8 years pqe required within a common wealth jurisdiction. Requirements:

• Must be 4+ PQE
• Must be qualified from a Common Law jurisdiction
• Must have trained and qualified at an international law firm
• Must have experience working on Commercial & Corporate M&A matters in an in-house/private practice team
• Must have excellent drafting and transactional skills
• Ideally be based in the region but not essential.
