Commercial Legal Counsel – US-Headquartered Bank– Contract or C2P – Up to £700/day

The Client

Our client, a major US-headquartered bank, is looking for a commercial lawyer to join on a 6-12 month (minimum) contract. The mid-sized team has a professional and collegiate culture, working reasonable hours (9am-6pm average) in Central London. The position has come about from an influx in work resulting from Brexit.

The Role

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Supporting on a wide variety of BAU work;
  • Drafting and negotiating on multiple technology and commercial agreements;
  • Providing ad hoc FS Regulatory advice alongside the more senior and established lawyers (where possible);
  • Advising the bank on general commercial matters.

About You

You should:

  • Have top law firm training;
  • Have in-house experience;
  • Have strong drafting and negotiating skills;
  • Be a UK qualified lawyer, with 1+PQE;
  • Be available to start ASAP.
