Commercial Lawyer - Technology - PQE 4+ - 3-6 Month FTC

A leading digital transformation consultancy is currently seeking a commercial lawyer for a 3-6 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of an extension beyond the initial period.

Reporting to the Legal Director, the role requires the successful candidate to work alongside internal commercial and procurement teams to advise and negotiate on the more complex customer-facing and procurement contracts, including the supply of goods and services, and some software licensing.

The successful candidate will have at least 4yrs PQE and relevant technical skills; be a self-starter with the ability to provide meaningful commercial advice to non-legal teams; have current working knowledge of the implications of GDPR in commercial contracts; and some knowledge of risk and compliance would be an advantage. NB: there might be some travelling between offices, but an overnight stay would be the exception rather than the rule.
