Job Details
An experienced Senior Corporate Associate with 3-7 years PQE is required to join a successful City of London department. The team have an immense amount of work coming through and they are ready to bring in junior lawyers who want to build a career in an International law firm.
The firm have a highly respected International brand and offices around the globe. There is massive potential to utilise their International reach to work on complex matters from high profile organisations.
The Firm
Despite the firm being a leading City practice, they are far from what you would expect from the usual "commercial machine" culture of City firms. They have more in the way of work-life balance, promoting things such as agile working.
The practice has a people focused approach where legal talent is nurtured; there is excellent, industry-leading training. The number of home-grown Partners all well attests this.
Partners are more accessible to fee earners, with there being very much an open-door policy.
It is common to find NQ's and Paralegals seated next to Partners to give them better training and development.
The Role
The firm has one of the world's leading international Corporate practices. With over 100 partners across Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia, their expertise extends to advising on public and private M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, prime brokerage, investment funds, restructuring and insolvency together with a broad range of regulatory issues.
The corporate team advises across a broad range of industry sectors including energy and infrastructure, financial services, insurance, healthcare, communications, manufacturing and real estate.
They handle transactions with international content including large, multi-jurisdictional deals and assist with structuring transactions to accommodate different international regulatory requirements.
This role is a fantastic springboard to get into a leading Corporate practice.
Requirements
- You will be a Senior Corporate Associate with at least 3-7 years PQE
- Expertise in Corporate transactions across a variety of areas including M&A, Funds, Restructuring and possibly Capital Markets although not essential
- You will have a strong track record with a respected law firm
- Must be qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales
