Our client is a global investment manager based in the City. With various regulatory projects front and centre for the legal team, they need a junior to mid-level lawyer with considerable derivatives experience to join as soon as possible and assist with overflow work. The focus of the role will be drafting and negotiating complex OTC derivatives documentation (ISDA etc.), as well as related ancillary documentation including GMRA, FX trading and Clearing agreements.
To be considered for this role, you must be a minimum of 2PQE, be UK qualified and you will have received top city law firm training. You must have an in-depth understand of derivatives documentation, preferably in relation to UK and Luxembourg fund ranges (UCITS and AIFs). Whilst buy-side experience is preferred, experience working opposite buy-side counterparties will also be considered.
