Our client, a global asset manager, is looking to hire an interim derivatives lawyer for 6 months. With projects such as Brexit the primary focus for the legal team, they require a derivatives legal consultant to provide full legal support for the company’s daily derivatives activities. The focus of the role will be to draft and negotiate all OTC derivatives documentation (ISDA, CSA etc.) and other counterparty documentation (GMRAs, GMSLAs, FX trading agreements, clearing agreements etc.). You will also be expected to advise the business on new derivatives products that the company could invest in on behalf of their customers.
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified lawyer with top city law firm training. You will need to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of derivatives and the associated documentation (namely ISDA). Buy-side experience is also essential, preferably with UK and Luxembourg UCITS and AIFs.
