Business Development - Commercial Property

This is a new and rare role to move into a non fee earning position at a national firm. You will be focused on business development within the commercial property group, working closely with specialist lawyers across the national network.

This firm has an excellent commercial property team nationally. Clients include commercial developers, investors, retailers, local authorities and national house builders, providing a broad spectrum of work. As part of a full-service law firm, the commercial property team also extends to specialists across property litigation, planning and construction. Although the team has vast experience in commercial property and strong client relationships, they want to take this to the next level by hiring a business development specialist to work with the commercial property group nationally. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining a close partnership with clients already loyal to the firm, and working closely with the lawyers to unearth new opportunities in the market and develop new clients.

The ideal candidate will either have worked in a business development role already, or be a senior commercial property lawyer with a strong track record in business development looking for a new challenge. Because this is a national role some travel will be required, but the position may be flexible in terms of work pattern. You will join a driven and ambitious Manchester office and be fully integrated into the commercial property team from day one.
