In House – Corporate Legal Counsel – 2+ PQE – London
Corporate Commercial Lawyer - domestic and cross border corporate, fund raising , corporate structuring 
  
Our client is a London based leading fund working at the cutting edge of its sector. The fund is looking to expand their legal team with the appointment of a junior to mid level corporate commercial lawyer with at least 2 years’ post qualification experience to become an integral part of the legal team and the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel and Head of Investments. You will work collaboratively, strategically and autonomously on a broad range of domestic and cross border corporate, fund raising/structuring and commercial (SPAs, NDAs, joint ventures) matters affecting the business, as well as ad-hoc legal issues that arise in order to ensure the business and General Counsel is supported efficiently and effectively. You will ideally possess the emotional intelligence to integrate and work directly with senior stakeholders in the business, as well as convey complex legal advice and opinions in a concise, commercial and effective manner.
  
Ideally you will have trained in an international law firm and have at least 2 years solid corporate experience as a minimum (although broader experience would be considered). Any general commercial, fund raising, fund structuring, regulatory, compliance or advisory experience would also be beneficial, as well as, permanent or secondee in house private equity or investment management experience.
  
This is a rare-in house opportunity within the litigation funding sector working with an exciting company in its West End London base. Competitive salaries and a bonus system are on offer.
