Contentious Financial Regulatory Partner – Leading US Firm
Building on its strength as a Financial Services powerhouse in the US, the London office of this US leading firm seeks to develop its contentious financial regulatory team in London, which sits within a very strong Financial Services group, independently recognised as first rate and with a "client focus and pragmatic approach in complicated situations". The remit is to work alongside an existing practice head with a view to succession, so leadership qualities are essential. The right candidate could have been focusing on both contentious and non-contentious matters, but must be at ease handling purely contentious work arising out of investigations, sanctions and money laundering. This is very much a client-facing role, so a commercial disposition will be crucial.
