Your new company
My client is an excellent energy company, which is growing very fast within the solar energy space. The company is a large international business with a current turnover of over a billion pounds.The company has forecast to continue to grow and is now looking to grow its legal headcount to reflect its growing demand. The company's significant markets are in Latin America, Australia, CIS, Africa, Spain, France.
Your new role
The company's development team is a highly experienced, multi-national team responsible for sourcing solar and battery storage projects around the world. You will be expected to advise, draft and negotiate the following: non-disclosure agreements, development agreements, heads of terms for share sale and purchase agreements, corporate documents for UK transactions, whilst managing exchange and completion with external lawyers where appointed. You will also be expected to manage external lawyers in relation to the financing of projects. Additionally, you will be managing the legal archives for the development business and liaising with the legal department of the parent company for internal approvals purposes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ideally a UK qualified lawyer or similar common law qualified lawyer. You will ideally have 4+ years of post qualification experience within a similar role. This role is a unique opportunity which will have the option to be 100 percent remote.
