The 5-partner Tax & Estate Planning Team act for a wide range of high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families of whom approximately one-third has some offshore element.

The range of work varies from: trust and probate administration; acting as executor and trustee in an assorted range of complex and high value family situations; advising on inheritance, capital gains and income tax mitigation; preparing wills; helping with lasting powers of attorney and the affairs of the incapacitated; charities; contentious trust and probate work and the full range of private client services. Much of this work has a large tax component, both domestic and offshore.

The practice represents a significant part of the firm's business, contributing c.25%+ to turnover and budgeted to contribute at least this in then next current financial year.

As a result of recent retirements, there is scope for continuing growth to the practice. The degree of following sought will depend on the seniority of the prospective partner candidate with a somewhat moderate minimum level of c.£300k+.
