Pensions Partner, Birmingham City Centre – My client is recognised as a leading national player and as a result of the continued success within the pensions department, the firm have identified the need for a driven and self motivated Pensions Partner to take centre stage and develop the pensions offerings within the local market. I have recruited for this firm for a number of years and have seen junior Partners rise through the ranks to Equity Partnership. The firm have a clearly defined strategy which they have executed over a number of years and they continue to evolve and drive the practice forward. THE ROLE:

Do you have what it takes to assist in driving a department into the next stage of growth? Your current firm don't offer possess the right credentials and reputation in order for you to develop the pension's offering? Well look no further as this leading national player has identified the need for a Pensions Partner to join their existing pension's department and play a pivotal role in enhancing the profile of the firm and department further. The firm are renowned for providing a leading service to both international and national clients across various legal disciplines. The successful Pensions Partner will be expected to come in and hit the ground running and work alongside the lawyers on various pensions' matters. The role will include advising on the implementation of pension schemes, changes to pension schemes and also setting up and enrolling on schemes. The firm actively encourages individuals to be entrepreneurial, forward thinking and to get out into the market to business develop and network. As part of the interview process you will construct a business plan which will set out your plan for the first 12 – 18 months. This is a unique opportunity to develop and build a practice with the full support of the team.

THE CANDIDATE:
In order to be successful in the role of Pension's Partner within this full service law firm you must have a wealth of experience of advising on all aspects of pension's law to a varied client base of public authorities, unions, corporate entities and also trustees. You will be a well rounded Pension Lawyer looking for partnership status and have the desire to go out and win new work on a daily basis. Ideal Pension Partners will be a well known name in the market and be looking for a new challenge within their career. With an excellent career to date you will be well thought of by your clientele and may well have a network of contacts that are able to instruct on future matters. If you have a proven track record of managing and supervising a team and would relish the opportunity to do this under your own steam then this could be the role you have been searching for!

Pasquale is a specialist recruitment professional with many years’ experience working for some of the most reputable global recruitment organisations in the world.
