Job Details
A huge success story in the fintech sector, our client is now looking to appoint a disputes lawyer to manage a variety of litigation and pre-litigation matters impacting the business on a global basis.
The company is disrupting the banking sector in a big way, and this is an opportunity to be part of their rapidly expanding legal function reporting directly into the General Counsel, and enjoying exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.
As a first-time hire within the area of litigation, there is a genuine opportunity to make the role your own and contribute to the shaping of the legal function, as well as determining the business-wide approach to litigation/disputes.
The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 3 years' PQE gained in commercial litigation, ideally with a period of training at a highly regarded litigation practice. The culture of the organisation is defined by a proactive, solutions-oriented approach - there is little in the way of bureaucracy, so lawyers are expected to make decisions quickly, deploying a high degree of commercial acumen with the requisite technical nous.
