JOB TITLE: Employment Partner
PQE REQUIRED: 7+ years
LOCATION: West Midlands
SALARY: £50-£65k plus at least 50% of your billings
THE ROLE:
This position is a strategic hire for this modern and entrepreneurial law firm and the successful candidate will play an important part in sharing the vision for changing the landscape of the profession with cost effective legal services. This innovative firm with an excellent reputation are actively pushing to promote their presence within the West Midlands market. With a unique business model, they are looking to bolster their offering with the appointment of an experienced Employment Partner to work within their Birmingham office. You will be client-focused, driven and pro-active with the ability to develop the existing high profile network of the firm. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Associate or Partner in their current firm and will also have a variety of contacts across the West Midlands market from which to generate new clients for the overall business. Commerciality and a strategic approach are essential requirements for this role, in return you will be offered an excellent salary, fee share package and the chance to work flexibly on a remote basis - no politics, KPI's or management responsibilities, just total freedom to fee earn with uncapped potential. As an added bonus, you will receive a genuine opportunity for equity partnership within the firm.

THE CANDIDATE:
You would be joining a dynamic and supportive firm offering a refreshing approach to winning and servicing clients, where hard work is generously rewarded. As a Senior Associate or Partner in your current firm, you will be looking for a new challenge in an environment where you can be truly autonomous and can directly affect your own success with uncapped earning potential. You will be expected to develop an existing network of clients combined with bringing your own substantial network of contacts and work referrers who will be only too happy to instruct you on future matters of business. Suitable Employment Lawyers will have a minimum of 7 years experience in handling their own caseload of employment related matters and be looking for genuine prospects for Equity Partnership (no up front capital injection required) Applications are also sought from Employment Partners who are frustrated at the lack of progression within their current firm, who are driven by success and preferring to take control of their own career. Ideally the candidate will live within reasonable commuting distance of Birmingham.
