Job Details
This is a genuine opportunity to be at the strategic heart of a highly regarded national law firm based in their Norwich office.
You will be a qualified solicitor with a high level of experience in order to demonstrate a good understanding in a broad range of practice areas and matter types. You will have excellent people management skills and an interest in, and ability to deliver, strong process management procedures and controls.
The role will involve reporting to the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) to deliver compliance with all aspects of relevant legislation, a high quality service to the business and a strong calibre team. You will work closely with Partners and lawyers across the firm, but in particular the Risk & Compliance and Finance Teams.
You will be trained so that you will acquire an in-depth understanding of the firm’s regulatory and legislative obligations in relation to (1) financial crime, (2) conflicts of interest and (3) client engagement and costs/estimating.
