Your new role
Working on data protection and privacy legal matters throughout the EMEA region, you will provide legal advice to the business and their affiliates. This will include you working on a full range of data protection matters, i.e. GDPR, EU/US Privacy Shield, etc. You will also review, negotiate and draft data protection terms in vendor agreements, policies and confidentiality agreements, to name a few. You will also provide privacy-related legal advice in regard to transactions. This will include reviewing contracts with 3rd party vendors, performing privacy-related due diligence, as well as drafting and negotiating the necessary privacy-related provisions.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant privacy experience gained in either a law firm, or in a corporate in-house legal function. You will be a qualified solicitor, or have a bar admission. You will also have good experience of drafting privacy policies and a variety of commercial agreement.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary c.£75,000, along with a bonus and benefits (including a car allowance). You will also be working in a company that invests in its employees, looking to develop them through a collegiate team and programmes set up to help them.
