Your new role
This firm is seeking a Paralegal to join the Banking Real Estate Finance department, being part of the real estate team based in London. Successful candidates will work directly with the relevant Partner, who is a leading individual in the field of Real Estate. You will be responsible for providing legal insight to different clients including developers, funders, contractors and investors. The team focuses on the smaller instructions from challenger banks and bridging/development loan funders. You will responsible for becoming familiar with and implementing on each new lending instruction the formal team protocol to deliver as far as is possible a turnkey service; having day to day conduct (subject to associate supervision) and responsibility for short term secured loan instructions from banks and bridging lenders from instruction to completion; overseeing post-completion registration and other formalities. At least 1 years of experience in property finance transactions would be ideal, with specific knowledge and experience of acting on behalf of challenger banks and bridging/development loan funders.
What you'll need to succeed
To qualify for this position, you must be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and preferably have the LPC, with sufficient knowledge and experience of Real Estate/ Banking law. Furthermore, you must have excellent written and drafting skills and have the confidence to deal with client facing situations, whilst approaching work with resilience and confidentiality.
