Associate in Commercial IP/IT
My client is a leading IP and technology partner in the Cambridge office of a leading international law firm. He is looking to recruit an ambitious, lively and enthusiastic commercial IP/IT lawyer with over 4+ years post qualification experience. The role will be to advise on technical issues, for example open source software and technical standards, M&A support work, drafting and negotiating complex contractual agreements and outsourcing and other transactional IT work.
A strong candidate will be able to fit in with a big and welcoming firm and understands what is required from one of this stature. Furthermore, they will be able to deal with both multi-national and local Cambridge clients.
A standout performer in this placement will put them self in great contention to progress to partner at the firm. They are well structured and can offer excellent mentoring. There are also exceptional secondment opportunities, for example, senior members of the team have recently enjoyed secondments to household name retailers and banks.
