In House Compliance & Data Protection Executive - FTC

THE ROLE

A position for a Compliance & Data Protection Executive to join on a 12 month FTC basis.

The role involves, inter alia, monitoring compliance procedures, systems and controls, where necessary recommending changes and to manage or assist in implementing any action required, ensuring compliance with relevant applicable policies, guidelines and/or regulations.

You will be supporting the company's implementation, management and monitoring of compliance matters and queries relating Privacy to existing business, new business, new products, new clients.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role your experience and knowledge should include:

General Insurance Compliance

Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks in Financial Services

Detailed knowledge of FCA regulations and legislation which impact on conduct of business in areas of general insurance

Detailed knowledge of Data Protection legislation

Experience of providing training and auditing

You will have a degree or other tertiary educational qualifications in business or finance and a minimum 2 years' compliance experience within the financial services industry

You'll have strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to quickly build confidence and credibility with Senior Management and Clients
