In House – Litigation - Insolvency Litigation – 5-10 years pqe - Litigation funder in London.

Our client is a London based litigation funder who is looking to expand their legal team with the appointment of two senior insolvency litigator with 5-10 years post qualification contentious experience .
The role will include the following :

Reviewing claims of office holders, Liquidators and Administrators, for legal and commercial merits
Liaising with the office holder or solicitors for further information
Presenting the claims to the investment committee with recommendation
Preparing the purchase or funding agreement as appropriate.
Liaising with acting counsel and managing the claim with solicitors and office holder.
Attending mediations, ADR and interlocutory applications and trials.

You will be responsible for generating new business, case pipeline management and commercial negotiations with clients.

The roles require a history of outstanding relationship building skills within the legal and commercial sector along with astute commercial understanding. You must be motivated to move away from fee earning to a strategic role and to be able to work in a management team to help drive forward this dynamic business. Senior associates in leading City litigation teams are invited to apply. This role offers opportunity and challenge with huge scope for development of the role as the business grows.
